Is the Bible Infallable?

I thought I would try to get a little dialogue going with you regarding a pretty controversial subject; the Bible. There is a growing number of people that think the Bible is a great book but definitely not 100% true.

Where do you stand on the issue? What concerns do you have?  Let me hear from you.

i have come across that same issue…and it has been very hurtful because i believe the word 100% and i am not going to be ashamed of believing it. i do have one teenage daughter i am having trouble with because it is her first yesr in high school and this year more than any other has been difficult because she has been introduced to movies that are related to what i call witch craft and we have had discussions but she tells me she can make her own decisions she has friends who are telling her the bible is just a book and that god did not write it that men did. i dont know how to approach this because she is my most rebellious daughter…

Marc, I believe the Bible contains God’s truth, but there’s a great danger in modern, Western thought to associate truth with literalism. One redeeming quality of post-modernism is that it’s breaking down this association.

Greg. Now that is a deep thought with some revelation attached. I am sure for those who read, they will have to stop and ponder the importance of what you just said. Help us Lord!
